Cousolre
is a village nestled in the Valley of Thure.
The Population of 2470 inhabitants is concentred in
the centre of the village although the territory itself
extends for 2069 hectares and has three hamlets :
Les Haies, Marsignies, Reugnies.

was built in 1866 and has a pretty Louis XIII-style
frontage.
Built in 1908 and with a blue stone staircase and
ornate, olaborate design, it forms one of most beautiful
and interesting features in the area.
Charles
de Gaulle Place
Redeveloped and refitted in 2000, it is covered
with blue stone tiles and features a garden decorated
with trees, planters and benches.
Behind the place is the Town Hall and in front is
a bandstand.
